# Snowflake

On the roadmap: Snowflake as a cloud data platform target for loading and historization at scale, and as a source for data extraction.

Snowflake is on the Amfelt roadmap. The connector is planned as a **target**, to load and historize data into a Snowflake data warehouse, and as a **source**, to extract from Snowflake tables and views. Its cloud-native architecture and separation of storage and compute make it a natural fit for large-scale Amfelt deployments.
